Utility map reconstruction

چکیده
In this paper we describe a new system for the reconstruction of geometric map elements as developed in the Dutch TopSpin-PNEM project ‘Knowledge-based conversion of utility maps’. In the knowledge base map conversion process vectorized map elements coming from an image interpretation system must be reconstructed in a geometrically accurate topographic base map. This is done using a map correspondence between the utility map and the base map based on mutual topography and relational information supplied by a map interpretation module. The map interpretation module uses geometrical inference to deduce the relational information, while applying a novel con ict resolution strategy. The map elements are accurately reconstructed, relationally and geometrically, using the map correspondence, the relations and several object-speci c functions.

Objective(s): The latest single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)/computed tomography (CT) reconstruction system, referred to as xSPECT Bone™, is a context-specific reconstruction system utilizing tissue segmentation information from CT data, which is called a zone map. The aim of this study was to evaluate theeffects of zone-map enhancement incorporated into the ordered-subset conjug...
متن کاملUtility Estimation of Health Status of Cancer Patients by Mapping for Cost-Utility Analysis
Background: It is important to obtain accurate information about the preferences of people for measuring quality-adjusted life years (QALYs), because it is necessary for cost-utility analysis. In this regard, mapping is a method to access this information. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to map Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy – General (FACT-G) onto Short Form Six Dimension (SF...
متن کاملMorphological Grayscale Reconstruction in Image Analysis: Applications and E cient Algorithms
Morphological reconstruction is part of a set of image operators often referred to as geodesic. In the binary case, reconstruction simply extracts the connected components of a binary image I (the mask) which are \marked" by a (binary) image J contained in I. This transformation can be extended to the grayscale case, where it turns out to be extremely useful for several image analysis tasks. Th...

The present article is a review of a palaeobiogeographic analysis of Jurassic Ostracods from East Africa, India and Madagascar and includes also some general remarks on palaeobiogeography, biodiversity and Ostracod ecology. The palaeobiogeographic study shows the high significance of this microfossil group for the reconstruction of palaeogeographic processes, particularly plate tectonic developm...
متن کاملGeneralized autocalibrating partially parallel acquisitions (GRAPPA).
In this study, a novel partially parallel acquisition (PPA) method is presented which can be used to accelerate image acquisition using an RF coil array for spatial encoding. This technique, GeneRalized Autocalibrating Partially Parallel Acquisitions (GRAPPA) is an extension of both the PILS and VD-AUTO-SMASH reconstruction techniques. As in those previous methods, a detailed, highly accurate R...
